I dance and I dance
For the world to see
I spin and I twirl
Being silly
Who cares if there all laughing at me?
My best friend hides
Her head in shame
Unhappy with my claim to fame
That dancing girl
A new nickname
Barefeet tap
At the poolside
And in this song
I'm glorified
And satisfied....
I didn't let summer slip away......
Instead I danced the night away!
